Mackenzie was always involved in the arts while growing up, and therefore knew her career would need to allow for some creativity. She narrowed in on the field when she realized interior design has a meaningful impact on the spaces in which we live, work, and play. She believes interiors affect our mood and overall well-being – so they ought to be good.
Mackenzie graduated from Louisiana State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Interior Design. Upon graduation, she returned to her home state of Texas, and worked at a mid-size firm on corporate, retail, and hospitality projects. In early 2020, Mackenzie moved to Denver. She now works at FLUENCY Architecture & Design focusing on healthcare and multi-family projects.
Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys going on hikes with her dog, running, skiing, and watching LSU football.
