A sixth generation Oregonian, Angie Morse grew up in Bend with parents who were early house flippers. Living in ever evolving homes, she experienced the possibilities within each home and that transformations were only limited by imagination, a creative budget, and her Dad's ability to test her Mom’s patience.
Angie Morse is a familiar face in the halls of Heritage School of Interior Design as an alumni and former instructor of Fundamentals of Interior Design and Home Staging. She brings years of industry experience to the next generation of interior designers and is known for her calm presence and passion for creating a positive learning environment.
In addition to a BA in Journalism/Public Relations from the University of Oregon, Angie is also a certified color consultant and professional organizer. Angie has won awards for interior design, professional organization, color usage, home staging, redesign, and has been named Interior Design Society’s Designer of the Year nationally in multiple categories.
Angie is a proponent of sharing knowledge, giving back, and inspiring emerging designers. She believes the profession is much stronger by fostering a community of camaraderie versus competition and that is reflected in her involvement with various design related associations. Angie is recognized as a RESA-Pro by the Real Estate Staging Association and has held positions with the Interior Design Society (IDS) including IDS Portland Chapter President, Swatched Committee Chair, National Board Member-at-Large, and most recently as the National Membership Manager.
In her spare time, Angie enjoys traveling with her husband of 25+ years, getting lost in a book, helping out on the family farm near Bend, and exploring Portland's best happy hour venues.
