Heritage School of Interior Design is 100% focused on Interior Design and provides a comprehensive, accelerated program that includes the creative, technical and business training to launch a career in interior design.
Our curriculum is designed to efficiently educate students with hands-on experience, at a lower cost. This intensive approach empowers students with a competitive portfolio and professional presentation skills.
We introduce students to vendors, makers, manufacturers and other design professionals who can help support and launch their careers. This enables students to become active members of the local design community.
Nearly 100% of Heritage students graduate, and greater than 85% work in the interior design industry. Many have launched successful careers, winning awards and have been featured in prestigious design publications.
Heritage School of Interior Design provides aspiring designers the opportunity to cultivate their talents through hands-on learning programs. We foster a learning environment to develop students’ confidence as they apply the knowledge and skills necessary to professionally succeed in the interior design industry. 3 terms is the minimum for the Master Certification Program. Upon beginning the Fundamentals program, students may take up to 2 years to complete all of the courses required for the Masters Certification Program.
The Master Certification Program requirements vary by HSID location but most programs are around 400 – 450 clock hours
Upon completion of the Fundamentals of Interior Design Program you will receive a Certificate of Interior Design. In Denver you receive a Certification in Fundamentals of Interior Design.
Upon completion of the Master Certification Program you will receive a Professional Certificate of Interior Custom Design. In Denver you receive an Interior Design Master Certification.
There is an average of 15 students in each class.
Over 80% of HSID alumni find work within 6 months of graduation.

Students can make 3 equivalent and consecutive monthly payments for the Fundamentals Program and Master Certification Program.
Students who complete the Master Certification Program are eligible to take the RIDQC exam. This certification signifies that a designer has acquired the necessary knowledge and skill set to work professionally in the field. Learn more here!
We have a diverse student body with ages ranging from 18 – 75! The majority of our students are pursuing their second or third career change – transitioning to Interior Design from a variety of backgrounds. Other cohorts of students include those attending directly after high school and those in their mid-20’s who have completed a two or four-year degree and are now pivoting their career focus and supplementing their higher education with an interior design-centric education. All of our students are creative, passionate individuals who are eager to learn, apply themselves and get working in the industry!
