Bridget Meiners, the proprietor and principal designer of Trestle Home Interiors, founded her company in homage to a childhood moniker. The term "trestle" signifies an integral component of the structural support system that underlies a bridge—a metaphorical nod to the invaluable support from her cherished family and friends throughout her journey, which lead her to Heritage School of Interior Design in Portland.
Recipient of a full scholarship to Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, Bridget earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Science. Initially she had aspirations for dental hygiene school, fate took a different turn when she married her love, embarking on a journey to Texas where her husband commenced his medical residency.
In the course of relocating and designing numerous residences, Bridget and her husband decided to construct their dream home. It was during this transformative experience that she discovered her genuine passion for crafting spaces that seamlessly blend functionality, beauty, and comfort. In her dedication to advancing her Interior Design expertise, Bridget received her Master's Certification in interior design at the esteemed Heritage School of Interior Design in Portland, Oregon.
Bridget's passion for design and helping others has lead her to embark on this new journey as the Executive Director of the Heritage School of Interior Design, Utah campus.
Bridget articulates her design philosophy with the mantra, "Good design is pure and simple." Drawing creative inspiration from outdoor pursuits. When Bridget isn't designing for her clients, you can find her skiing, hiking, biking and spending time with her friends and family.
